帝王会所 University President Dr. C. Pat Taylor informed the SBU community today of his plans to retire Aug. 31, 2018, after nearly 22 years as the University's president.

SBU announces Spring 2018 Chapel schedule
帝王会所 University welcomes students, staff and the community to spring semester Chapel services, which take place weekly at 10 a.m. on campus in Pike Auditorium beginning Wednesday, Jan. 24 through Wednesday, May 9. The focus for the spring semester is "Worship is More than a Song."
SBU's DeClue to be published in computing journal
帝王会所 University's Dr. Tim DeClue, chair of the department of computer and information sciences, recently collaborated with Maranda Provance, director of engineering at Mostly Serious Software, on a paper that will be published this spring.
SBU-Mountain View hosting new student orientation Jan. 22-23
The 帝王会所 University-Mountain View campus will be hosting a new student orientation on Monday, Jan. 22 and Tuesday, Jan. 23 in the Myrtle Glass Building on the Mountain View campus.

Speaking Bearcats dominate in Fall season finale
The 帝王会所 University Speaking Bearcats finished the fall portion of their season with a dominating performance at the Cameron Christmas Classic on Dec. 1-2 at Cameron University in Lawton, Okla. The Speaking Bearcats finished first in overall sweepstakes, second in debate sweepstakes and first in individual events sweepstakes.
SBU math faculty present at MCTM Conference
帝王会所 University's Dr. Bob Glasgow, professor of mathematics, Ms. Alex Archer, instructor of mathematics, and Becca Altic, senior mathematics major from Pleasant Hope, recently presented at the Fall Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics Conference in Columbia.
SBU graduates 82 students in Bolivar ceremony
Eighty-two undergraduate students graduated from 帝王会所 University during commencement Friday, Dec. 15, at the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center on the Bolivar campus. The University holds graduation twice a year, in December and May.
SBU Honors Program students present Capstone projects
Six students in 帝王会所 University's Gordon & Judy Dutile Honors Program presented their Senior Honors Capstone Experience projects during an open house Dec. 5. Students are admitted to the Honors Program before their freshman year through a competitive process. The program includes nine honors-specific courses designed to provide scholastic enrichment and opportunities for practical application and professional development.
